ASUS is a global technology leader driven by innovation and quality. Currently, it is the world’s No. 1 manufacturer of motherboards and a leading PC brand. By constantly keeping the focus on customers’ needs, it creates products that enhance people’s computing experience.
Asus has developed a reputation for innovation. You can see that in the type of products that they bring into the market. Last year Asus introduced to the world the Taichi, a mind-blowing innovation. The Taichi is a dual-screen notebook running a Windows 8 operating system and seamlessly switches from notebook to tablet.
The Asus Taichi is the perfect marriage between notebook and tablet. When the lid is open, the ASUS TAICHI™ is a notebook with a full-size backlit keyboard. When the lid is closed, it instantly transforms itself into a multi-touch tablet. Both ASUS TAICHI™ screens work independently and simultaneously too, so people can share its powerful Intel® Core™ i7 processor, astonishing SonicMaster audio co-developed with Bang & OlufsenICEpower®, dual HD cameras and array microphones. Specs-wise, the only downward of the TAICHI would be its weight: 1.25Kg is quite heavy for an Ultrabook.
What I like the most about the ASUS TAICHI is its 4 modes display feature. It’s a unique feature to the TAICHI and the one that wins it the heart and the mind of consumers around the world. Thanks to its dual-screen design, the TAICHI allows you to seamlessly switch from one user scenario to another. Let’s look at them.
1. Notebook mode
You can easily sit back and enjoy the super performance of an Ultrabook and be productive at work.
2. Tablet mode
At home or on the go, you can take advantage of the mobility that the tablet gives you.
3. Mirror mode
This is the perfect tool for business users. With the ASUS TAICHI, business presentations take on a different meaning.
4. Extension mode
Traditional conflicts are no longer relevant. Spend time with the people you love the most while you do the things you want or need to.
If this doesn’t win your heart, I don’t know what will. The genius of the Taichi lies not only in seamlessly integrating a notebook with a tablet, but also in making real world business presentations natural, pleasant and trendy.
With the Taichi, you will look forward to your next business presentation as logistics no longer stands in your way. It allows you to more express yourself and naturally interact with those around you. My only regret would be to have thought the Taichi was heavy. After all, the TAICHI is a tablet plus a notebook in one single device. Add any tablet to an Ultrabook from any major brand in your bag and it will weigh more than 1.25kg. Besides, the Taichi gives you the convenience of carrying one device instead of two.
